Amy's friends say she spends too much time alone, making up people, places and things. If she isn't writing, you'll probably find her reading, exploring new artistic outlets or playing with her kids. She's particularly fond of bats, and David Tennant is her Doctor. Her stories have been published by Plain Spoke and performed by The Liars League. Her children's story "Harvey and the Horrible Sneeze" was published in the 13th Annual Half Price Books Bedtime Storybook. She earned an honorable mention in the WOW! Women-on-Writing Summer 2009 Flash Fiction Contest, and won third place in the 27th Annual 3-Day Novel Contest. She edits Liminal, a literary journal for teens. She is currently writing young adult novels and exploring just how short flash fiction can be and still qualify as a story. |
